Accommodation in the PSW Students Dormitory 2019/2020

We kindly inform you that from 20 May 2019 persons who apply for the place in the student dorm in the 2019/2020 academic year will register electronically.

1. The applications are registered electronically:

• for students through the Virtual University (WU – Wirtualna Uczelnia)
• for candidates for studies through the Internet Candidate Registration (IRK – Internetowa Rejestracja Kandydata).

The detailed instructions on how to apply electronically can be found at the end of this message.

2. After filling in the application in WU or IRK, the application should be printed. The table in the application should be completed in writing on the basis of the documents listed beneath (attachments) which should be attached to the application:

• certificate from the tax office with regard to net income in 2018 earned by all adults remaining in the same household,
• certificate from the Commune Office for applicant owning a farm,
• certificate of school attendance or of studying in full-time or part-time studies by siblings under 26 years of age,
• disability ruling – in the case of a disabled person.

Attention!

Foreigners also submit a certificate of permanent residence and family composition. All documents must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator.

If an error in the electronic application occurs, regarding the calculation of net income per month per person or the number of kilometres between the place of residence and the University, corrections can be made only on the paper version of the application.

3. A printed, completed and signed application, along with the aforementioned attachments, should be submitted in the Dean’s Offices of the University – rooms 266R, 267R, 268R at 95/97 Sidorska St. or in the administration office in the Student Dorm – room 135 at 105 Sidorska St. The deadlines are:

• 15 July 2019 – students
• 14 August 2019 – candidates for studies.

Persons who apply for accommodation in the Student Dorm will be selected on the basis of the qualification procedure carried out by a selection committee, appointed by the Rector. The results will be published on the University’s website:

• 31 July 2019 – students according to index numbers,
• 30 August 2019 – candidates according to ID / passport serial numbers.

From 1 October 2019 the price for accommodation is:

• 430 PLN per month in a twin room,
• 480 PLN per month in a single room,

plus refundable deposit of 430 PLN, in accordance with Rector’s Regulation no. 65/2019.
