Projekt “Development of the Master Level of Sports Management with Special Emphasis on the Field of Sports” (MOSMEN) jest realizowany w ramach programu Erasmus+ KA2 “Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices” zgodnie z umową 2020-1-PL01-KA203-081993. Projekt jest współfinansowany ze środków programu Unii Europejskiej Erasmus+.

Edukacja z zakresu zarządzania sportem jest stosunkowo młodą dziedziną edukacji sportowej. Chociaż kształcenie menadżerów sportowych na poziomie studiów magisterskich rozpoczęło się już w ostatniej dekadzie na Węgrzech, nie można tego powiedzieć o innych krajach, takich jak Polska i Serbia. Bez naprawienia tego stanu rzeczy trudno sobie wyobrazić rzeczywistą zmianę systemu gospodarczego w dziedzinie sportu, która zakłada, że organizacje sportowe są prowadzone przez dobrze wyszkolonych profesjonalistów, posiadających wiedzę zarówno sportową, jak i ekonomiczną. Projekt ten stara się wypełnić tę lukę w edukacji sportowej poprzez zapewnienie programów nauczania obejmujących odpowiednią wiedzę teoretyczną i praktyczną dla przyszłych menedżerów sportowych.

Celem projektu jest włączenie 6 programów nauczania w języku angielskim do edukacji zarządzania sportem na trzech uczestniczących uniwersytetach, z wykorzystaniem innowacyjnej metody e-learningu, opracowanie Przewodnika dla Nauczycieli, opracowanie wspólnej platformy ICT.

W wyniku projektu powstają programy nauczania, które mogą być od razu wykorzystane przez uczestniczące instytucje i wdrożone jako moduły fakultatywne, wzbogacające portfolio edukacyjne wszystkich uczelni uczestniczących w projekcie.

Projekt jest również pierwszym krokiem w procesie powstawania pełnego 4-semestralnego programu studiów magisterskich na kierunku zarządzenie sportem.

Realizacja projektu pozwoli partnerom z Polski i Serbii na akredytację programu, unowocześnienie dotychczasowej edukacji menedżerów sportu, natomiast parterowi węgierskiemu na rozpoczęcie kształcenia na tym kierunku w języku angielskim.

Realizacja projektu umożliwi instytucjom partnerskim odegranie decydującej roli w dziedzinie edukacji menadżerów sportowych w regionie.

Długofalowym celem jest także rozwijanie w instytucjach partnerskich programów kształcenia kończących się uzyskaniem dyplomu wydanego wspólnie przez instytucje partnerskie.

Sports management education as a relatively young field in sports science education has not matured in its educational structure, teaching materials, teaching methodology or institutional level in the CEE region. Although MSc education of sports managers has already begun in Hungary in the last decade, the same cannot be said for other countries in the region such as Poland and Serbia. Without correcting this shortcoming it is difficult to imagine a real change of economic system in the field of sport, which presupposes that sports organizations are lead by well-trained professionals with both sports and economics knowledge. This project tries to contribute to close this gap in sports science education by providing curricula that include relevant theoretical and practical knowledge for future sports managers.

The aim of the project is to incorporate the 6 courses in English into the sports management education of the three participating universities, using innovative e-learning techniques, preparing Teachers’ Guide and common ICT platform, which would provide students and teachers with important and useful knowledge in sports science education.

As a result of the project, curricula are created that can be used immediately by the participating institutions and can be published as an optional lecture by enriching their education portfolio.

The project is also the first step in a long-term process in which the full programme of a complex 4-semester master's degree programme will be developed with additional curricula for sports manager education which is not the subject of the current project.

This will allow the Polish and Serbian partners involved in the project to accredit the programme as well as to upgrade the Hungarian partner's existing sports manager education in Hungarian and to launch the same education in English.

This will enable the three partner institutions to play a decisive role in the field of sports manager education in the region.

It is also a long-term goal to develop double-degree educational programs among partner institutions whereby students in sports management education study lectures in different institutions during their educational period getting a diploma issued jointly by the partner institutions.
